Foundation Committee
The CREW LA Foundation Committee is dedicated to supporting CREW Network’s mission by organizing an impactful annual fundraiser. For 2025, the Foundation Committee will host the Annual Golf Tournament, a premier networking event that unites CRE professionals, sponsors, and supporters to raise funds for CREW Network Foundation and CREW LA initiatives, including scholarships, career development programs, and other philanthropic goals aligned with CREW Network’s mission to transform the commercial real estate industry.
The CREW LA Foundation Committee Key Responsibilities
Event Planning and Logistics
Organize and oversee all aspects of the golf tournament, from securing the venue, scheduling tournament activities, and coordinating registration to organizing post-tournament networking events and award ceremonies.
Sponsorship and Fundraising
Develop a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to attract and secure financial support, in-kind donations, and sponsorships. Coordinate outreach and cultivate relationships with potential sponsors to meet fundraising targets.
Promotion and Marketing
Create and execute a marketing plan that leverages social media, newsletters, and community partnerships to maximize event visibility and attendance. Collaborate with CREW LA’s Communications team to promote the tournament and drive engagement.
Participant Engagement and Outreach
Engage CREW LA members, local businesses, and industry professionals to participate in the event, ensuring a diverse and inclusive range of participants. Manage outreach efforts to encourage early registration and high attendance.
Volunteer Coordination
Recruit, organize, and manage volunteers to assist with the event’s logistics, registration, on-site support, and tournament activities, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional experience for all attendees.
Post-Event Stewardship
Lead post-event activities, including sponsor and participant recognition, event wrap-up, and initial planning discussions for the following year’s fundraiser.
Commitment
Committee members should anticipate monthly meetings leading up to the tournament, with weekly meetings in the final month. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about CREW LA’s mission and ready to contribute their skills in event planning, sponsorship, and community engagement.
Skills and Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have experience in event planning, fundraising, and/or marketing, along with a strong commitment to CREW Network’s mission of advancing women in commercial real estate.
